Institutional structure
Country Lakes is developed by BOMA Desarrollos, master developer of a 1,100+ hectare residential plan in Yucatán.
Each lot is held in a Mexican bank trust (fideicomiso) with INVEX as fiduciary. The subdivision is registered with public authorities (fraccionamiento inscrito) and ownership is transferred through notarial deed (escrituración).
The fideicomiso is the standard mechanism that allows foreign buyers to acquire property in Mexico's restricted zones. We explain it clearly and recommend independent legal review.
Country Lakes' masterplan landscape design is by EDSA and the architectural direction is by Artigas. La Perla follows those architectural guidelines.
